What better way to keep the interest and excitement alive during the cold winter months than taking courses, learning seamanship theory and other boating skills so as to be better prepared when we launch in the spring.

Several months ago we took the online Boating Basics to acquire our pleasure craft license but decided to skip the Boating Essentials Course as we both had some sailing/boating experience.

 

 

Seamanship seemed an appealing choice (two-hour weekly classes that will take us from January till April), offered by the Canadian Power and Sailing Squadron.
