At this point I need to fuse my past with that of my husband. The currents of Francois’ experience on the water run a lot deeper than mine.
he was a frogman in the making
boating was a family affair
As a child he spent many summers on his parents’ motor yachts
cruising the Thousand Islands and waterways in and around Montreal
More recently he spent some time with his brother sailing on Lake Champlain and this is where his passion started to grow.
I began to realize too that the trips we have taken together were usually near or on the sea
deep sea fishing off the coast of Nova Scotia
trips to the Caribbean where we would watch with envy as the other hotel guests would take out the little Lasers for a day sail
Fisherman’s Cove, Albufeira
our memorable trip to Portugal where the whole three weeks was spent traveling along the shore of the Algarve
our last two days spent at a Pousada in Sagres, overlooking the place where Christopher Columbus began his sailing days.
Nice to see this, We are in the same track, but still in the dream state. But definilly MAcGregor is the more versatile boat I’ve ever see.
We find the same thing. Everytime we think that maybe another boat is better, we keep coming back to why we chose the Mac
