…so the posts are out of order
but I couldn’t resist posting our first big storm onboard…
Went out this morning knowing there was a storm coming…
8-10 knots winds gusting to 25-40 knots…
…thunder storms…
but with our usual ‘soupson’ of caution we departed early…
the winds were perfect!!!
…just us, a kite sailor, and a Dragonfly under motor.
by mid-afternoon, after 5 hours of perfect sailing
there remained us, a pretty Hobie Cat…
…a couple of wind surfers and the kite sail ballet.
We returned around 1530,
making sure everything was ‘battened down’…
an then it came…
the first wave…
…and the second wave…
…it was awesome!!!..
