Up for our next challenge we headed out in spite of high wind warnings…

rain gear and life vests ready…
At some point we had to face rough weather
and thought the best way was to jump in while near home base.
…aside from a Dragonfly Catamaran…
…we were the only boat on the lake,
white caps,
black clouds and all…
…10 knot winds gusting to 15-25 knots
…heavy rain…
…the Captain was confident and content…
After 3 hours we headed back to the marina
soaked to the skin and exhilarated.
