We love storms!
Every day we listen to the marine weather…
Every day it’s the same…
‘Risk of thunderstorm’
but aside from a few distant rumblings
and the occasional flash of lightning
we have yet to be present onboard R.E.D. when the big ones strike.
We would never put ourselves unnecessarily in danger
but at a safe anchorage or our home dock
we have waited for two months for such a storm.
Today was that day…
…guys I think there’s a storm coming…
…and then the skies opened up
and torrential rains fell…
(with a few good rounds of thunder and lightning)
…’does this mean we won’t be going out today, sir?’…
