Planning for when we are on the water again
during chili days and night when we don’t have access to shore power
and our little electric cabin heater…..
No battery power sacrificed,
no shore power needed,
just 3 clay pots,
a few bolts and other bits….
…and some good old basic ingenuity.
…1 small hole in the saucer to secure the base…
…4 inch pot first…
…then the 6 inch pot…
…topped with an 8 inch pot…
Within 15 minutes the pots were warm
and within 30 minutes we could easily feel the warmth in the room.
I like this design a lot better than the ones I've seen elsewhere on the internet. I'll have to make one.
Thanks Dennis. The thing is most are potentially tippy. I also lked the connecting bolt and little topper which fnished it off nicely. Found 8 hour tea lights too. Surprising how much warmth it generated. Now we can be more 'off the grid' should those zombies attack 😉
