Our boat club is the location of a sailing school
and yesterday a new group of water babies arrived
spent the day sitting in their little boats on land
learning the points of sail.
…today was the first day on the water,
towed from the dock with their instructor’s Zodiac
…then released
one at the tiller
two manning the sail
…their first race
…tight finish
…eventually they graduate to dinghies with real sails
