After just three years we will have to change our cranking battery. She no longer has enough ‘oomf’ to take us through another season. We think it’s partly due to an improperly wired system. This has been corrected.
To prolong the life of our one remaing battery and our future replacement, François did some research and found a new product, Battery Equalizer.
If it’s advertising is correct we shoud be able to double battery life. If not, any improvement over past experience would be more than welcomed.
18 ml into the Deep Cycle Battery.
Cells topped up with distilled water.
Terminals cleaned with water and baking soda.
Second battery ditched and new one on its way.
Good to go for another season….we hope.
Don’t do it. There is absolutely no need to add anything to a battery if properly maintained. This stuff does not do anything good for your battery.
