A planned raft-up at the sandbanks on Lac-Saint-Louis with boat friends,
turned into a very sporty physical solo day for us…
…headed out at 0930
winds WSW
15 knots gusting to 25 knots
…a real challenge close hauled the whole way
but finally made it as far as Dowker Island – 5 hours later
returning with full genoa, wind at our back – 30 minutes
Enjoyed an evening onboard with friends,
BBQ-ing, sharing boat stories into the wee hours…
Hope there will be many more Pat & Ray…
