It was 17 years ago on Groundhog Day (02/02/96) that we had our first date in Halifax. It has always been a running joke between us that if François saw his shadow he would scurry away underground never to be seen by me again. But as in the movie by the same name, we kept repeating until we got it right. Now happily looking forward to another 17….
